DELIVERY & PACKAGING CHARGES
Here at Sealants Direct we operate a delivery policy of charging for delivery & packaging on a per order basis. We know that our customers expect to receive their purchases promptly and safely, and therefore we take care in using the correct packaging to ensure your goods arrive as expected.
HOW WE ARRANGE DELIVERY
Once your order has been processed we will contact you via email or telephone to confirm your order and arrange a delivery date, unfortunately we cannot provide an exact time for delivery as this is at the carriers discretion.I
If the products ordered are all In Stock and ordered before 11:00am, the order can normally be processed that day, for delivery within 1 – 3 working days .
Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day for delivery within 1 – 3 working days thereafter
- Special Order Items - Products are ordered in from our suppliers and are subject to longer lead times which will be displayed.
Please be aware, any lead times given are estimates only and while every effort is made to deliver items to you before the maximum date, unforeseen delays may occasionally occur. Please allow up to 6 working days for items to arrive, unless stated otherwise. Please ensure that all delivery details are accurate as incorrect details could lead to a delay in delivery.
ORDER TIMES AND DELIVERY SCHEDULE
If the products ordered are all In Stock and ordered before 15:00, the order can normally be processed that day, for delivery within the next 1-5 working days, between the times of 08:00 and 18:00. In order for us to process your order for delivery within the next 1-5 working days, all orders must be placed before 15:00.
- Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day for delivery within 1 – 5 working days thereafter.
- Orders placed after 12:00 on a Friday will normally be processed the following Monday, again provided the item is in stock. However, if Monday is a Bank Holiday, we will endeavor to process your Item/Items the next working day.
- Our usual days for delivery are the working days of Monday through Friday, however, we can arrange a Saturday delivery for large orders, which would normally be delivered on a pallet. Additional delivery charges may apply. Please contact us for more information.

Although we do have a large range of products available in stock, some products can take longer for delivery as sizes and quantities may need to be delivered in from our warehouse. Delivery lead times are stated on product pages and you will be notified, at the point of order, by email or telephone of any extended lead times for your order. Sealants Direct shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the goods within the estimated timescale. Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, occasional delays are unavoidable due to unforeseen factors.
THE DAY OF DELIVERY
As we utilize a national courier service, using a number of couriers to deliver our goods, we are unfortunately unable to provide an exact time for delivery as this is at the carriers discretion. Delivery times are usually between, but not restricted to, the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. It is assumed that the delivery address is accessible by large lorry, if this is likely to be a problem, please contact us to inform us about any restrictions.
Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, couriers are only able to deliver items to ‘curbside’. It is not their responsibility to take the delivery into your home, it is therefore advisable to make sure that there is adequate help to unload the delivery into your home. If the courier is unable to make a delivery because you were not available, you will be liable for a charge for re-delivery.
CHECKING OF GOODS
Sealants Direct request that all goods MUST be checked upon arrival for defects, damage, shortages or unsuitability. Notification of any issues with your order must be given to our courier immediately and the paperwork signed for as DAMAGED. All goods must be signed for by a person of minimum age of 18 years old.
Please DO NOT sign for goods as received in good condition without checking for defects, damages or shortages or sign for goods as unchecked, as your signature is acceptance of the goods being received in good and serviceable condition and we cannot accept any claim for these issues after you have signed for the goods.
You have 24 hours to notify Sealants Direct of any damages, defects or problems with delivery. If you do not notify us within this time then we will be unable to rectify any problems.

PLANNING YOUR JOB
Sealants Direct strongly suggest you DO NOT book any trade person to complete a job involving goods ordered from us, until all parts of your order have been received in good order. We cannot accept any liability for any costs incurred due to damages, defects, faults or issues with goods in transit.
